Played this a couple of years ago and it totally filtered me, the difficulty is brutal for today's standards and this is coming from somone who has played at LAN Dota tournaments and won Path of Exile race events. This game is just nuts and I feel like unless you're a centain age it will completely fn filter you.

Every time I hear this song I am reminded of the time in Rapax Castle I ended up in a 2 hour battle. I got caught in a cross corridor and new groups kept showing up throughout the battle as I finished off older groups. So intense! One of the greatest games ever made imo.

My God... So many memories... Me, my sis and my dad used to play a lot with Wizardry 8... I loved it. Wish I could play again... This game is a masterpiece you can day anything.

Myles had the accent Americans imagine English people to have (also Marcus in Babylon 5). I completed this game - I don't know how, but it was so immersive. There were different endings according to what you did. It was so open ended and I liked the way you can side with different factions to influence the story.

Sometimes the game makes no sense with spawns. Like in Arnika, I have a level 16/17 party. Sometimes fights are extremely easy (level 5 Higardi Raiders) and sometimes tough (this music plays when level 21 Savant Slashers spawn.) But a Bard with Bloodlust will take them down :)

Time for a reload when you hear this music. I don't tolerate disease/draining/deaths. I try for deathless runs.

A.k.a. the "prepare your anus" music. The game engine never lies: whenever this tune starts, be ready for an absolutely brutal slaughter.

Stroll around Arnika then bam, 3 level 21 Savant Troopers and you're... level 6.
